I am offering, for your kind consideration the Early 1970s MARTIN - VEGA "WONDER" 5-string with resonator/flange model VW-5 manufactured in Nazareth, PA by Martin. Very early production (note 2-digit serial number ...)..likely among the first Vega banjos to bear the Martin name. Set up nice, good straight maple 2 piece neck with center strip, dual coordinator rods, very well constructed American-made banjo...resonator & flange plates can easily be removed for open back playing. Plays great and sounds great..$750. or consider trade for original Vegaphone Professional or Whyte Laydie Style R resonator banjo.

If you have any questions...or have trades to offer..please e-mail (or text 617.302.668two)....interested in most vintage guitars, banjos and mandolins though somewhat partial to Gibsons, Vegas, Fairbanks, Martins, B&D etc..

I usually respond to ALL e-mail inquiries. If you do not get a response it usually means I did not get the e-mail message...please try again
