You don't always get a chance to buy a nice ,clean original 60s vintage Gibson flattop from
its original owner but this guitar was just a sweet bit of serendipity. I was just out for a Saturday
morning drive with the family when I noticed a newspaper ad for a yard sale that said "...Gibson
guitars". We raced to that sale fully expecting to find the guitars sold and, well, sometimes it's
just your day. The owner had done all the research and included a list of current selling prices on
eBay and all but I didn't mind paying fair market for this little gal. Nobody in their right mind
would ever part with such a great playing and terrific sounding vintage Gibson ... course, if the
right old Gibson, Vega, Fairbanks or B&D banjo comes along....you know you never say
"never"..
