Vintage 11" Built-in resonator banjo pot
I'm offering the original Vintage 11" complete banjo pot
assembly shown in these photos. It is UNMARKED but certainly made by (or for) Gretsch. As you can
see, this original 11" pot is nice and tidy retaining original hardware. Appropriately, the original dowel stick was retained so the
integrity of the pot is maintained for posterity sake.... Dowel stick tenon is
unmodified.
This is a nice fresh lightweight vintage pot and ALL parts are original...shoes, neck brace, endbolt as well as
the matching hooks and nuts. The original nickel plating is fair and it has a new 11" head that is intact,tight, and sounds great.
This is an all wood rim and the bearing surface is nicely smoothed and contoured. It's neat with the built-in resonator and port-holes bound
to give an interesting sound. I've seen these bearing the name Clarophone but this pot is unmarked.
