Welcome. This original 11" BACON BANJO COMPANY pot assembly shown in these photos would make a great old timey banjo. It's all original and the original dowel stick was retained so the numbers match and the integrity of the pot is maintained for posterity sake...not an "orphan" pot. Dowel stick tenon remains the same size, dimensions and profile as when factory assembled....

This is a genuine prewar BACON BANJO COMPANY INC, GROTON CONN, USA pot with 24 original shoes, neck brace, endbolt and dowel stick. Remo head is taut and great sounding. Original moderately tarnished Bacon steel hooks and nuts intact as well...no metal tone ring under the head..wood rim turned in shape of tone ring...nice woody sound. This is a good solid prewar pot and great conversion prospect....bargain priced and ready for the neck of your choice!! If you're looking for an original pre-war wood rim pot assembly this might be for you...
$250.
