1960s Winston "Teardrop" Hollow Body
Very hip Japanese hollow body two-pickup electric with unique "teardrop" body shape and nifty stylized "F" hole on the base side only. Yes, it's quite an avant-garde "off the wall" guitar which, upon close examination, displays some normal weather checking and, like the Italian Eko and Vox stuff it clearly resembles, the back finish has one area of slightly bubbled finish. It's not loose or flaking off but it's checked and lifted slightly. The "zero" fret near the nut makes for surprisingly almost acceptable action and the neck angle, fully adjustable with the bolt-on neck design, is way better than what is commonly found on most "trash" guitars . Possibly made by Kawai....I've only seen one other which bore a different name. Pretty stylish "trash" piece to give that sound out on the edges of the bell shaped curve..
