Howard Roberts Guitar Manual Chord Melody Paperback. Rare original 1972 softbound 56-page manual by Howard Roberts. This is one of the best. Howard shows guitar applications of open and close voicings, parallel, oblique and contrary motion, block chords, comping, and just a bunch of really cool chord ideas. The book has about 65 examples. There are diagrams but no tab. Some harmonic analysis, but this is no beginner book. Advanced players will have a ball with this book. The sounds are very modern and hip, and the examples are over typical changes so you can apply them to lots of tunes. One of my favorite guitar books ever.It should be a classic. Used but in very good COMPLETE condition.
