40s Kluson tuner GEAR/POST ASSEMBLY
Offering for your consideration this RARE GEAR/POST assembly for old open geared kluson tuners. This is an original unplated brass string post and gear assembly for
the old "open gear" klusons with oval plastic buttons (the tuners that are original to 40s Gibson guitars ... J-45 etc see below). These tuners are not included....this listing is
for the string post/gear assembly shown above only.
The photo above shows the kind of strip tuners this string post/gear assembly would be mounted to. Very useful in cases when a gear becomes stripped on your original old Gibson and you don't
want to change the original tuners. Price is for the single integral POST/GEAR assembly as shown. These are the tuners that allow for removal of string post and gear from the strip. Very tough item to
find when you need one...... no other parts included....just what is shown in the photos. Feels SO good to get that vintage guitar right!! Please note....price is for ONE brass gear/post
